Natural timber and hand-applied paint finish
This unique collection is hand-crafted using sustainably sourced timber from well managed forests. To achieve the furniture’s bright and appealing design style requires the application of several coats of specially mixed paint, which is layered onto the under frames to provide an interesting, low-sheen finish complete with visual brush marks and imperfections.
The unpainted top surfaces are treated with a wax-like formula to enhance the natural character of the individual reclaimed boards. This process not only enhances the timbers appearance by focusing the splendour of the natural grain, but also adds a resilient protective coating. Every top surface in this collection is constructed from reclaimed timber. Discoloured grain, joint discrepancies, crowning, dents, pits, nail holes and general rustic appearance are all characteristics of the design style and final finish, making every piece of furniture entirely unique.
Lacquered finish, clean using a damp cloth only
